• The Design Of Underground Channels To Provide Natural Ventilation For High-Rise Buildings

Natural Ventilation In Buildings Has A Great Potential For Conserving Energy And Improving The Health Of Occupants. In This Design, Hot Air Passes Through An Underground Channel To Become Fresh And Cool. When The Air Enters Inside The Building, The Shape Of Central Part Works As A Wind Chimney, Directing Airflow Upwards.

• A Proposed Model To Produce Water From The Hot And Humid Air In Buildings Based On Condensation Process

The Basic Concept Of The Building Is Taken From Iranian Traditional Caravanserai With Central Courtyard And Also The Shape Of The Bedouin Tent. This Center Is Located In Hot And Humid Region. In The Past, Many Buildings Were Built With Two-Shell Ceiling To Control The Heat Of The Sun In This Area. To Follow This Pattern, The Roofs Has Designed In Two Shells Which Provides Enough Space To Produce Water Between The Two.

• The Integration Of Wind Catcher And Wind Turbine To Generate Electricity Demanded For The Building

the Integration Of WindCatcher And Wind Turbine WindCatcher Is One Of The Iranian Traditional Element For Cooling And Natural Ventilation In Buildings. This Element Is A Vertical Channel Which Traps The Wind. So If Turbine Installs In The Wind Direction Through The Channel, The Electricity Could Be Generated. This Design Benefits From Two-Sided WindCatcher To Generate Power Needed For Industrial Sector. As It Can Be Seen, Larger Blades Are Installed Beside The WindCatcher’s Opening And Smaller Ones Are Inside The Channels.
